S. João’s Day
By this time it is customary to have a gathering among all campers, a festive reunion with appropriate music, where there is no lack of roasted sardines and caldo verde.
Harvest Festival
In the first days of October, we had a very participative interaction, with popular music that animates the defoliation of the corn that is brought from the farmers of the region. To the sound of the accordions there is dance, songs to the challenge and a small meal.
Magusto (St. Martin’s Day)
At the time of St. Martin’s Day, campers enjoy the Magusto festival, where you can’t miss the well-known papas de sarrabulho, rojões and tasty roasted chestnuts.
Three Wise Men Day
After the New Year we celebrate the feast of the Holy Kings. You can’t miss the faithful friend cod, potatoes and cabbages on the tables, as well as the king cake. To liven up the party, gifts are exchanged.
Carnival
During Carnival, there is a new meeting between all campers. As the best friendships are made at the table, we have papas de sarrabulho, Minho style rojões and beautiful rabanadas to finish the meal.
